Encapsulation / Low-Moisture Cleaning

What is encapsulation?

The encapsulation process starts with chemistry. Uniquely formulated to separate soil from fiber, this process "encapsulates" dirt in a cleaning solution so that soil is easily vacuumed and removed. The encapsulation process requires the use of a counter rotating brush machine. When paired with an encapsulant, CRB machines are low-moisture, efficient tools that can cover up to 3,000 square feet of carpet per hour. Encapsulants prevent agitated dirt from bonding with carpet fibers.

The process

1- Apply Pre-Spray to vacuumed carpet. (An effective pre-spray will loosen the soil from the carpet fibers.)

2- Use a CRB machine, such as Brush Pro, to agitate the carpet, separating the dirt from the fiber.

3- Vacuum carpet after dry or the next scheduled vacuuming to pick up and remove the detached soil.
